There are many, many scams out there advertised on the net. I come accross them everyday, mostly in my email inbox. I,m getting so good at identifying these scams I thought I would start a blog about them.
Gene Truman and Data Money Online is nothing but a internet Scam! DMO website claims they will not charge you unless your making money. They got me for $202.91 I have sent over 12 emails no response requesting a refund. Called the contact number nothing but a fake voice mail. This guy should be in Jail and all DMO websites should be removed ASAP! I am working with my bank to recover the charges.
I was as well, however for these sites, ALWAYS READ THE TERMS OF SERVICE PRIOR to giving them your name and e-mail address. They have to provide this information in the Terms of Service of what the charges are to be etc., and anyone worth a bucket to piss in will list the costs associated right on the home page, not in some Terms of Service page hidden at the bottom.
If it's to good to be true, it is. It sounded great and I almost fell for it. These people should be thrown in jail in my humble opinion. If I ever run into this guy, he'll get a knuckle sandwich for lunch and a foot long in the back of the head for dinner.
SCAM!! I was duped but I got back $147 of the $244 they had taken..try this # 1-877-546-8510 and the email refunds@datamoneyonline.com. They responded with the typical no refund policy but I threatened a lawsuit and that seemed to help.
They called my wife and spoke. She could not get any more information about it until they got her credit card number. Next thing we know, our credit card was chardged $197. We had not info, no promise, no commitment
I was told that a charge of 7.95 would be charged and nothing else but when i checked my checking account they took out 7.95 plus 197.00,I tried to call them but the number was fake so i e-mailed them, they still haven't contacted me.I called 877-546-8510 and talked with a person only to be told that i had to contact refunds@datamoneyonline.com to get a refund, she said she couldn't issue refund's.Long story short I can't get in touch with anyone and no one has e-mailed me back..
I was charged 7.95 eventhough I had not made any money, and a couple of days later I saw a couple of suspicious charges for 19.95 and 5.95 from a different name. I called visa right away and luckily they were able to tell that this was a phising scam linked to datamoneyonline and immediately cancelled my credit card and are issuing me a new one. I suggest that if you have signed up for this program, maybe cut your loses and cancel your credit card to avoid any future charges.
Thanks for the headsup. Now I know what to avoid, I'm still not sure of whats legit! Please let us know what does work to make money online. This website "datamoney.net" is all over Goolge. It's easy for someone to be tricked into thinking one of these different named sites is legit.
